Accès Art offers therapeutic support through art and sandplay therapy, for all clients experiencing life and relationship problems. We have a solid experience in working with children and teenagers, as well as with adults and seniors.
We support you in questioning and overpassing personal problems related to stress and anxiety, trauma, grief, separation, depression, addiction, emotional management, and more. We believe that each person has inside self-healing forces that a good therapeutic environment can activate and strengthen.
Due to Covid-19, we are offering online sessions, offering the same support from the comfort of your home. Please visit our Online Therapy page for details.
Individual sessions for children and teenagers
When your child or teenager struggles with life and relational issues and needs therapeutic support, try art therapy. Our experienced art therapist can help your child express issues from own life with the help of drawing and painting, play, storytelling, etc.
You may choose art therapy because your child is experiencing challenges to describe his/her feelings related to stress or sadness, or to painful life events such as grieving, or separation since these can be too hurtful to put in words. In most of the cases, your kid does not require a diagnostic, but needs to be given the time to explore own experiences, memories, fears, anxieties, frustrations, and disabilities in a safe space and in her / his own pace. Therefore, in a more than relaxed environment with no pressure of being labelled, your child will be heard, motivated and accompanied in the process of learning life skills and resilience. Our approach is non-judgmental and playful, suited for their age, and with respect for their traditions and culture.
Further, children and adolescents with autism or intellectual disabilities can benefit greatly from art therapy. For children with special needs, art-making can increase their attention span, fine motor skills, giving them a sense of achievement and autonomy.
Individual sessions for adults of all ages
We offer art therapy sessions for adults that want to work towards their goals and explore problems in their lives through visual and verbal languages. We accompany you in discovering all your strengths to attain your goals, facilitating inner exploration through visual and verbal communication.
Sometimes experiences are hard to be processed through words. Sometimes, we lack clarity about what we need or how to restore our well-being. Therefore, the art therapy introduces art-making as an alternative way to understand what is happening beyond the verbal barrier, and strives to repair the body-mind connection.
